Why Choose Casey Majewski as Your Fieldwork Supervisor?

Choosing a fieldwork supervisor is one of the most important decisions you’ll make on your path to becoming a behavior analyst. With over a decade of experience supervising BCBA and BCaBA trainees, Casey Majewski offers supervision that is structured, ethical, and intentionally designed to prepare you for real-world practice—not just certification. Her supervision goes beyond required meetings to include meaningful feedback, direct client observation, skill-based assignments, and professional mentorship grounded in the BACB Ethics Code and current best practices. Known for clear expectations, timely communication, and a supportive but accountable approach, Casey provides a supervision experience that values your growth, protects clients, and builds true clinical competence. This is supervision for people who want to feel confident, prepared, and professionally grounded as they move into independent practice.

What Does Fieldwork Supervision Look Like?

We've got you covered. You'll get everything you need to become an amazing BCBA!

Our BCBA Fieldwork Supervision program is designed as a comprehensive, all-in-one training experience, not just supervision hours. Each supervisee receives access to a structured curriculum, ongoing mentorship, and support systems that guide you from your first hour through fieldwork completion and beyond.

The supervision curriculum is thoughtfully sequenced to build clinical knowledge, ethical decision-making, and real-world BCBA skills over time. Curriculum content includes guided assignments, applied learning activities, case-based discussions, and progressive skill development aligned with BACB expectations.

In addition to the curriculum, supervisees are supported with a fieldwork tracking system to help monitor restricted and unrestricted hours, supervision contacts, and monthly requirements. The tracker is designed to reduce confusion, increase accountability, and support accurate documentation throughout the fieldwork experience.

Together, the curriculum and fieldwork tracker provide clarity, structure, and consistency—helping supervisees stay organized, meet BACB requirements, and focus on developing strong clinical skills rather than worrying about paperwork.

This integrated approach ensures that supervision is meaningful, educational, and supportive at every stage of the fieldwork journey.

The curriculum follows a structured training and development pathway designed to support both BCBA fieldwork completion and transition into advanced BCBA-level practice.

Fieldwork Completion Timeline
BCBA fieldwork hours are expected to be completed as follows:
• Concentrated Supervised Fieldwork (10%): approximately 12 months
• Regular Supervised Fieldwork (5%): approximately 18 months

Plus advanced training to be the best BCBA you can be.

Fieldwork hours are accrued only during the designated fieldwork period and are logged and verified in accordance with BACB requirements.

Restricted vs Unrestricted Activities

Concentrated Supervised Fieldwork (10%)

Restricted activities include direct implementation of behavior-analytic programs with clients, including direct intervention, data collection during sessions, and implementation of treatment plans as written.

Unrestricted activities include data analysis, program development and revision, treatment and behavior plan writing, staff and caregiver training, research review tied to active cases, ethical decision-making, supervision preparation, and clinical problem-solving.

Weekly Commitment

Restricted vs Unrestricted Activities

Weekly Commitment

• Total weekly fieldwork commitment: approximately 30–32.5 hours

• Restricted activities: approximately 12–13 hours/week

Phase Two

Phase Two

Advanced Training

Advanced Training

Phase Two begins after BCBA fieldwork hours have been completed and verified. This phase is not a continuation of fieldwork accrual and does not involve logging or verifying additional fieldwork hours with the BACB.

Responsibilities are introduced gradually based on demonstrated competence, ethical practice, and supervisor approval. Independent clinical decision-making or unsupervised BCBA duties are not permitted during this phase.

Phase Two is designed as an advanced, hands-on BCBA training and mentorship for 6-12 months, focused on developing the full range of skills required for independent BCBA practice under supervision.

This is ideal for trainees who want to feel confident, informed, and prepared when stepping into a BCBA role—not overwhelmed or under-supported.

Advanced Training

Advanced Training

Advanced Training

During Phase Two, the Advanced Student Analyst will engage in progressive BCBA-level training activities, which may include:

• ·  Understanding insurance authorizations and funding sources

·  Navigating treatment authorization requests and reauthorizations

·  Writing clinically strong goals that meet payer expectations

·  Understanding documentation requirements across payers

·  Ethical and practical considerations when working with funding sources

·  Time management and caseload organization

·  Professional boundaries and role transition from trainee to BCBA

·  Preparing for common challenges in independent practice

• Shadowing BCBA leadership tasks related to caseload management and clinical oversight

Phase Two Rate

Advanced Training

Phase Two Rate

Although BCBA fieldwork hours are completed prior to Phase Two, ongoing supervision and mentorship are required during this advanced training phase. Supervision during Phase Two focuses on clinical guidance, oversight, and professional development rather than BACB fieldwork verification.

• Advanced Training Supervision Fee: $400 per month for employee/non-employee

Phase 2 is optional for non-employees but required for employees.

Why Choose a Structured Supervision Package Instead of Hourly Supervision?

Fieldwork supervision with Casey Majewski is intentionally designed as a comprehensive, structured professional experience, not a pay-per-meeting arrangement. Unlike hourly supervision—where costs fluctuate, preparation time is often unpaid, and support is limited to scheduled meetings—my supervision packages provide consistent access, clear expectations, and full-scope oversight each month. Supervisees receive scheduled supervision meetings, direct client observation, assignment review, documented feedback, curriculum-guided learning activities, and timely communication, all for a predictable monthly rate. This approach eliminates guesswork, supports ethical and meaningful skill development, and ensures supervision extends beyond “checking boxes” to truly preparing you for independent practice as a behavior analyst.

Important Information for Distance Supervision

Spectrum of Hope offers distance supervision in accordance with BACB supervision standards. Distance supervision is available only to supervisees who meet all eligibility requirements.

To participate in distance supervision, supervisees must:

• Be enrolled in qualifying BCBA coursework
• Have ongoing access to at least one client receiving ABA services
• Be able to provide the supervisor access to observe client sessions (live or remote)
• Obtain required employer and/or client consent for remote observation
• Maintain reliable internet access and appropriate technology for video supervision
• Meet all BACB monthly supervision and observation requirements

Supervisees must have consistent client access each supervision month. Individuals without client access are not eligible for distance supervision.

Supervision includes individual and group meetings and requires active participation with cameras on, from a private location. Supervision meetings are clinical and instructional in nature.

All distance supervision follows the same BACB requirements as in-person supervision. Spectrum of Hope reserves the right to pause or discontinue distance supervision if eligibility or compliance requirements are not met.

Distance supervision does not guarantee BACB approval of hours, certification, or exam outcomes.
