I had the pleasure of meeting Emily Pisciotta in June of 2023 when she sought out ABA therapy services with us: as we had been recommended by her own family (who have been clients with us for years). She was assigned to me (Casey Majewski) and I completed the assessment and wrote the treatment plan for her child. Paul is my husband and our Operations Manager. He completes intakes and communicates with parents.
As part of the process, several types of assessments are completed and when the treatment plan is final it is reviewed with the parent to make sure that they give informed consent. Emily agreed on this plan and we started therapy. However, shortly after therapy began her insurance changed without notice and claims were not paid for services for a period of time. We do monthly eligibility checks to ensure that our clients have active coverage. She had applied for Medicaid and was approved. As most people know, you have to have prior authorization for specialized services so her new insurance would not pay without a prior authorization. My office worked tirelessly to get her new insurance to back pay claims plus give authorization for continued treatment and were successful in doing so. At no point was she asked to pay or treated disrespectfully. In fact, if she was so unhappy she certainly could have requested that we didn't proceed and get a new authorization. Once the new authorization was approved therapy continued. During this time, Emily was constantly late and then was a no call no show. She was reminded of policy. Shortly after, she didn't show up for an entire week. She didn't return any calls or texts so we assumed she wasn't coming back. She then randomly showed up the following week. When told she wasn't on the schedule, she then left this google review. Our attendance policy states that two no call no shows are grounds for discharge. Contrary to what her post says, we have a 1-2 year wait list that is filled with people who want and need access to ABA, as it is medically necessary, often intensive, and requires parent participation and consistency. Our staff is 1:1, so if a client calls out, then the staff is left without a client to see and we don't charge fees for tardies or cancellations because our client are often low income (and who can afford much of anything in this economy). Anyhow, Emily's harassment hasn't stopped with this review. It's been almost two years. She continues to lie about me, Paul, and SOH. She started up again the first week of March claiming that I was engaging in insurance fraud by holding authorization for her child without providing therapy. That's impossible. Authorizations are active for 6 months, then you have to request another 6 months of treatment and provide documentation for that request, including parent signatures on treatment plans. When I told her that I didn't hold an authorization for her child, she continued to be nasty to me and continues to update her google review to keep it at the top of the search and post lies on her Facebook page about my company. Goggle has stated twice that they would remove her review, but haven't yet. I am not sure why. But in the meantime, I thought that I should defend myself. She must have texted herself that inappropriate message and then doctor the photo to claim it came from my business. She then proceeded to post these fake photos all over my website and added them to Google. That number is not associated with SOH. Below, I will post all exchanges between myself and Emily and Emily and office staff to show how ridiculous her claims actually are. Emily likes to spend her time trying to tear down other people but I have worked really hard to get to where I am. I started my company as way to help other parents like me care for their children and I won't let her ruin my hard work with lies. She has already been served with a cease and desist, which she has refused to comply with.

Please note that the exchanges look to be out of order because she was messaging through both my website and to my work email. It can look confusing but just read from the bottom of the email exchange to the top because the newest messages show on top.
She shared a video of her daughter saying her first words while in our care. Nobody was ever rude to her or demanding of her to pay anything nor were any inappropriate advances made toward her.
I don't know if she is continuously reposting her review after Google removes it and Google has to keep deleting it or if Google just hasn't deleted it yet. It's currently in review with Google, again.
