Spectrum's mission is to ensure that every child has access to quality care so that they can reach their full potential. Educating others, being a positive part of the community, and advocating for the unique needs of each and every family is what we do. Spectrum is a place where hope is powered by science.
At Spectrum, we use evidence-based procedures to create individualized treatment to help children learn and grow. We make changes to the environment to shape behavior. We are always learning, always growing in knowledge and experience so that we can provide the most up-to-date ABA treatment available. We teach skills through natural learning opportunities and we meet children where they are. We work on 8 specific domains of learning and rotate activities throughout the day to keep the kids excited and engaged-all while ensuring that activities are tailored to their interests and individualized treatment goals.
Our team includes experts that excel at supporting the families that they serve as well as the staff that they supervise. Looking for hope? You've found it here. An autism diagnosis can feel so overwhelming and you might find yourself losing hope that your child won't be able to live the life that you imagined. Our team understands. Most of us have children or family with autism diagnoses, so we have been in your shoes. We are team Spectrum and we are here to help you restore hope. We know that every child is unique and deserving of the very best care. We put our clients first and love to see them smash their treatment goals. We use a family centered approach including parents in every step of treatment.

Spectrum of Hope uses the science of Applied Behavior Analysis to create meaningful behavior change. This means learning new skills and decreasing behaviors that impact daily life. At Spectrum, we are committed to helping children excel by providing individualized treatment to help them live their best lives.
ABA is a science based on human behavior. ABA is data-driven in which only evidence-based interventions are used to improve socially-significant behavior to a meaningful degree. ABA has helped to improve interventions in education, developmental disabilities and autism, clinical psychology, behavioral medicine, organizational behavior management, and many other fields and populations. ABA is endorsed by the surgeon general as the most effective treatment for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and is endorsed by many other respected associations. We specialize in ABA because we've seen it change lives.

We primarily work with children from age 1-12 years. We focus on intensive therapy (usually a minimum of 20 hours per week) because research shows that early and intensive therapy yields the best outcomes. We specialize in teaching communication and language, daily living skills, play skills, social interaction, and so much more. We teach children the way that they learn and we celebrate every success. We love seeing children succeed and enjoy being a part of their progress.
At Spectrum of Hope our staff have been trained in Safety-Care Behavioral Safety Training, a leading crisis prevention training course focusing on how to prevent behavioral challenges, de-escalate early and manage behaviors safely. The curriculum is founded upon evidence-based research in the areas of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) which we believe offers our staff and those we serve with the best strategies available. Safety-Care is consistent with our goal to maintain a comfortable and safe learning environment and it meets or exceeds the accreditation standards outlined by CARF, JCAHO, COA and other agencies concerned with quality care. If you have additional questions regarding Safety-Care and its implementation, don’t hesitate to ask.
